Singing voice evaluation


Each personalized Singing Voice Evaluation includes: 

  • Extensive review of medical/clinical records to determine potential impact of medications and treatment of other medical diagnoses on voice function

  • Perceptual evaluation

  • Perceptual evaluation of singing voice

  • Acoustic evaluation

  • Acoustic evaluation of singing voice

  • Aerodynamic evaluation

  • Assessment

  • Goal building

  • Recommendations/Plan of care

  • Identification of need for referrals to other services or professionals to support optimal voice outcomes

  • Counseling, education, and training to the client, health care providers, and caregivers

  • Detailed written evaluation outlining findings and recommendations

Singing Voice Evaluations are typically 80 minutes in length and can be scheduled in-person or via tele-practice.

Note: The Personalized Voice Evaluation + Singing Voice Evaluation does not include instrumental assessment (e.g. laryngoscopy; videostroboscopy). These services will be available in the future.
